Holzforschung Austria – Österreichische Gesellschaft für Holzforschung, is Austria‘s leading research and testing organisation for wood and wood-based products. Founded in 1948, the institute operates along the entire value chain in the wood sector. Core competencies include research and development, inspection, testing and certification of wood and wood-based products. In the HyPELignum project, Holzforschung will develop wood based demonstrators such as plywood ecoPCB and printed sensors for the timber construction industry.
